Fire in You

This work delves into the various demons that reside within each of us: fear, anger, doubt, lies, resentment, self-hatred, and many others. These demons come in different sizes, some amplifying each other to grow even larger. They demand our full attention, consuming us from within, preventing us from enjoying life and hindering the creation of a positive future. When observed up close, they can possess a mesmerizing beauty, yet from a distance, they become truly terrifying. Negative emotions, particularly fear, can engulf us swiftly, often without our awareness of their immense negative impact on our lives. However, our inner selves awaken, giving us the choice to either eliminate these internal demons or acknowledge them and move forward. We can learn to coexist with this internal fire, hardly giving it a second thought. Negative emotions can arise suddenly, catching us off guard. Thus, this artwork serves as a powerful reminder that this fire resides within us all and is entirely normal. We have the power to control it, follow its guidance, or simply be aware of its presence without allowing it to grow. July, Berlin 2022
